MORE details have been released about a violent kidnapping in which a man was bundled into a car before being repeatedly cut with Stanley blades.

The 18-year-old victim was walking along Chigwell Road in Woodford Green at about 11.30pm on Sunday July 26, when a car drove up alongside him.

The vehicle – described as a baby blue-coloured hatchback – stopped alongside him and a number of men jumped out, grabbed the victim and bundled him inside.

He was driven around the corner to Albert Road, where he was pulled out from the car, forced across the bonnet, and cut several times with the blades.

Police say they are looking for five Asian men, all in their 20s, in connection with the attack.

Officers added that anyone who may have seen the distinctively-coloured vehicles in the area around the time of the attack should come forward.

Anyone with information should call DC Adam Whitehall at Ilford CID on 020 8345 2635.
