A FAMILY fun day has been hailed a success as about 500 people came out to sample yoga and have a massage.
Redbridge Homes laid on a Fit 4 Life event in Althorne Gardens on Snaresbrook's Hermitage Estate.
The event on Saturday, September 4, brought a host of organisations together including businesses and the police.
Carmel Grant, a resident engagement officer at Redbridge Homes, said everyone who attended was entertained.
She said: "It was a big success with a steady flow of people.
"We've 360 properties on the estate so it seemed like everyone household was out and more.
"A company called Community Food Enterprises made fresh smoothies which were very popular and we had two massage therapists which were constantly booked."
The event, which had a healthy living theme, also included a pirate entertainment show for children, a Chinese food stall and the chance for residents to give feedback about the estate.
