TWO fire crews tackled a blaze at a house in Loughton.

The kitchen fire took hold at about 5.30pm yesterday in Parkmead.

Two crews from Loughton took half-an-hour to put the fire out.

Fire-fighters also used a pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the house.
