FIVE medical researchers have climbed Ben Nevis for a road safety charity.
A team of five from Mobile Doctors in Southend Road, Woodford Green, scaled the Scottish mountain to raise money for Brake, the national road safety charity.
Hope Grant, Elizabeth Morgan, Joanne Dise, Jean Fernand and Carol Chessis took on the mountain and reached the summit which is at 4,409 ft above sea level.
Ms Morgan said: "We thoroughly enjoyed the climb although it was very hard-going at times."
The challenge was completed on September 4 in nine hours and 20 minutes.
So far the team have raised about £3,000.
