AN American children's author spent time telling pupils about the latest title in his series of horror stories.
Earlier today Year 7 and 9 pupils at Woodbridge High School met Michael Grant who is in the UK promoting Lies - the latest title in his popular series of horror books.
Mel Clarke, the school librarian, said: "At Woodbridge we like to encourage an appreciation of books and reading for pleasure in our students and we find author events like this are a great way to enrich the reading experience.
"We were thrilled to have Michael Grant here - as one of the authors shortlisted for the Redbridge Children's Book Awards this year, Michael has a fanbase at Woodbridge of students who devoured his first two books and have been eagerly anticipating this third one.
"To get the opportunity to meet the author and to buy signed exclusive copies of Lies was very exciting."
