YOUNG artists from across the district brushed up their artistic talents with a day of watercolour painting.
Epping Forest District Museum is currently showing an exhibition of watercolours from local artist Eric Dawson and decided to give youngsters the chance to produce their own artistic masterpieces.
Taking inspiration from Mr Dawson's original work, the pint-sized Picassos, were given guidance on creating paintings of their very own.
Museum education officer Catherine Hammond said: “We are trying to do activities taking in the current exhibition. The idea is just to get everyone drawing.
“I think they all had a good time and really enjoyed the chance to do some painting for a change. Everyone liked Eric Dawson's paintings- they're very colourful and people can really go to town on their colouring in.”
