IF the idea of being at the heart of Epping Forest at night appeals, this year's Rodings Rally could be for you.
The annual event sees teams using their map reading skills to take part in various orienteering activities in an all night exploration of the forest.
Each team taking part in the event starts with a sheet offering a clue and three possible grid references for manned checkpoint tents in the forest with a total of ten checkpoints to find.
Beginners can choose to take a shorter five checkpoint course.
The event takes place on Saturday, November 27, and entries are now open to teams of two or more people who will need a compass, torch, and someone who can read a map.
