A LIBRARY will be turning back the clocks when it hosts an exhibition detailing 100 years of local history.
Chipping Ongar Library, in Ongar High Street, will showcase an exhibition of photographs, maps and memorabilia detailing the town's evolution from the 1870s to the 1970s.
A special interactive memory wall will enable visitors to share their own stories and memories of Ongar.
The exhibition, created by the library in partnership with Ongar Millennium History Society, will run from Saturday, November 6 to Friday November 19.
On Thursday, November 18 at 2.30pm, Eric Probert from the Essex Society for Family History will give an illustrated talk entitled History of the High Street.
