A KEEN foodie has launched a charity recipe book which she hopes will encourage more home cooking.

Lesley Morris, from Park Avenue in Woodford Green, wrote Easy Entertaining, Simply Served to raise money for cancer charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Mrs Morris, who is finance director for Enfield-based flour mill GR Wright & Sons, drew inspiration from friends and family to create the book of more than 80 recipes.

She said: “The idea is really just to give people simple, easy, home-cooked ideas, nothing too fancy – we're not trying to be Gordon Ramsay - just meals that anyone can put together whatever their ability.

“The photos are fantastic and I've made each of the recipes myself at least twice so I can safely say they are delicious and easy for anyone to make – the perfect gift for Christmas!”
