A THOUSAND faces from Walthamstow are now being displayed in the Town Square.
Despite a damp start at the launch on Monday, photographer Hal Satterthwaite unveiled his exhibition with the help of world-record breaker Terry Cole.
The project, which won a lottery grant of £10,000, has already attracted the attention of the Times, the national Guardian and has been on BBC TV three times.
Mr Satterthwaite said: "It's all gone absolutely brilliantly. The response has been superb, every two minutes I see another person who is in the exhibition and there have been crowds around all day. It hasn't stopped."
Mr Cole, changed his latest record attempt due to injury but the rain did not stop him breaking another one at the launch.
Although it has yet to be confirmed by The Guinness Book of World Records, he is confident that he has managed the most juggles in one hour.
Mr Cole racked up 18,200 throws with three clubs. The exhibition runs until Sunday between 10am and 8pm in Walthamstow Town Square.
Live DJs will entertain visitors and a special party is being held tomorrow from 7pm for all the people who were pictured, with a free drink for each one.
