EAST London residents are being urged to sign themselves up as London Ambassadors for the 2012 Olympic Games before the deadline expires next week.
Potential applicants have until Friday, January 7 to apply for the voluntary role.
Around 8,000 ambassadors are needed to provide support and advice to visitors.
They will not be paid but will get food vouchers, a uniform and free training in return.
