LIGHT relief is being enjoyed by a North Weald charity after being awarded a grant of thousands of pounds to repair the lighting in their hall.
The Queens Hall Charity that runs the Community Centre and Memorial Playing Field in School Green Lane, North Weald has secured £4.378 in grants to repair its lighting and plumbing systems.
Councillor Elizabeth Webster, Chairman of Essex County Council’s West Area Forum, said: “We wanted support projects that could improve communities by achieving tangible improvements to people’s lives within local communities and could demonstrate community support.”
