A CHURCH will mark its anniversary with a lecture on the Big Bang.
David Wilkinson, a professor of astrophysics, will speak at Loughton Methodist Church in the High Road on Saturday, May 14.
The lecture, entitled The Big Bang, Stephen Hawking and God, is due to start at 7.45pm and aims to explore the relationship between Christianity and science.
The church's minister, the Rev Tony Morling, said: “It has been in the planning for some time and gives a great opportunity to explore the important issue of faith and science by listening to Professor Wilkinson. All are most welcome to attend.”
