POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a vulnerable pensioner who has gone missing.
Lillian Knight, 79, was last seen at her home in Beresford Road, Chingford, between 2pm and 2.15pm yesterday (Saturday, May 21).
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "There is concern for Lillian's safety and whereabouts as she suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia and requires medication for her blood pressure.
"It is unlike her to leave the house unaccompanied."
Lillian is described as white and about five ft seven ins.
She has a slight build with greying light brown hair and was last seen wearing brown corduroy trousers.
Anyone who has seen Lillian, or who knows of her whereabouts, is urged to Waltham Forest Police on 0300 123 1212.
