Nicklas Bendtner could quit Arsenal to join arch-rivals Spurs, after comments by the player’s father.
The Dane wants out of the Emirates, after failing to hold down a regular place in Arsene Wegner’s starting 11, say reports.
That makes goals-starved Spurs a potential suitor, with Harry Redknapp’s side in the market for a hitman, according to the Metro newspaper.
“Nicklas is 100 per cent open now to a change of clubs,” said dad Thomas Bendtner.
“He has made his decision and he has told it to Arsenal. Nicklas needs to be playing from the start so, sadly, he must leave.
“He wanted to finish the season first, so no-one could say he didn't fight for a first-team place right until the end.
“There is real interest from both English and German clubs, and Bayern Munich were after him, earlier. It's very exciting,” he told the Daily Mirror.
