THE council is offering work placements to disabled people.
The unpaid placements can be up to 15 hours a week and those completing placements for 4-6 months could be offered a paid position if they perform to the required standard.
Placements are available in the following roles: administration, reception, general office duties, public relations, grounds maintenance, post room, arts, community services, building, trades, legal administration and customer services
A council spokeswoman said: “You should state clearly on the application form the type of work you are interested in, as well as any tasks that you may need reasonable adjustments to undertake, so we can be sure to offer a placement that is appropriate for your skills and abilities.”
