NEW members are being sought for a group representing patients in Ongar.
The Ongar Patient Forum brings the public together with health care bosses to ensure that patients interests are represented.
Chairman Arthur Moody said: "The forum gives staff from the town's two GP practices the opportunity to discuss local issues and matters which affect local healthcare.
"Since the forum was launched last year we have seen an increase in membership but we are keen to boost it further and would encourage people of all ages with an interest in local health issues to come along."
The next meeting is due to take place at the Ongar Health Centre, Bansons Lane, Ongar, at 7pm on Wednesday, September 7.
