ANGLERS are invited to enter a charity fishing competition.
The contest has been organised on behalf of Help for Heroes, by The Redbridge Lakes Tackle Shop on Salix Lane, Woodford Green.
Fishing will take place on the Redbridge Lakes off Roding Lane North, next Friday (September 16).
Tackle Shop manager, Dean Hunt said: “We think it’s a very good cause. There’s no prize money on offer because all proceeds will go to the charity, but we’ve had a trophy made.
“We want to get as many people on the lakes as possible.”
Entry to the competition is £15. The draw for fishing positions will take place at 8.30am, with fishing taking place from 10am until 3pm.
The trophy will be awarded to the angler who lands the greatest weight in fish.
