A LEYTONSTONE author will be the guest of honour at a local environment group’s second anniversary.
Writer Saci Lloyd will speak about her teen novel Carbon Diaries 2015 at Transition Leytonstone’s anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 24.
The group of 250 green campaigners work to combat the challenges posed by rising energy costs, climate change and economic instability.
Ms Lloyd will speak and sign copies of her books at the family event and invite children to suggest future Transition projects.
The event, entitled A Lark in the Pastures, is to be held at Pastures Youth Centre, in Davies Lane, Leytonstone between 2pm and 9pm.
