HUNDREDS of people will be gathering in central London today (Sunday) to mark the 10th anniversary of the September 11 US terror attacks.
There were 67 British victims of al-Qaeda’s attacks on Washington and New York, including a former pupil of Trinity Catholic High School in Woodford Green, 22-year-old Vincent Wells, who was working in the north tower of the World Trade Centre when it was hit.
Memorial ceremonies for the victims are being held at the Grosvenor Chapel, the September 11 Memorial Garden, near the US embassy and St Paul’s Cathederal.
