A 62-YEAR-OLD man was repeatedly punched in the face by two youths who robbed him of £150, a debit card and a watch.

The man was walking along Windsor Road in Wanstead, shortly before 10.15pm last Friday night (September 16) when he was set upon.

One of the attackers demanded money while the other rifled through his pockets and removed his wallet.

The robbers then started punching the man in the face before running off.

The victim was left with a badly swollen eye and a cut lip.

The suspects are described as between 15 and 18 years of age. One was wearing dark clothing the other wore a dark hoodie.
