IMAGES have been released of those suspected of looting a Chingford clothes shop.

A gang of between 10 to 20 people stole dozens of items from Aristocrat in Chingford Mount Road at 12.45am on August 8.

The raid took place as unrest spread across the country after the shooting of Mark Duggan by police in Tottenham.

Two police officers called to the scene were hit by a car containing suspected looters.

The officers were not seriously injured by police are treating the incident as attempted murder.

Jah-Kiel McDermott, 28, of Inglehurst Gardens in Gants Hill, Ilford, has appeared in court charged with causing grievous bodily harm and 31-year-old Shaun Patrick Hill, of Siddons Road in Tottenham, has also been accused of looting from the shop.
