TWO people had their mobile phones snatched from their hands by a youth on a bicycle in the Chingford Green area on Wednesday (October 5).
Police are warning that the man, thought to be aged between 17 and 21, may strike again.
At 8.50pm that night a woman was walking along Beresford Road when the youth rode up behind her, grabbed the device and then cycled away towards Station Road.
He was wearing a black hoody and his bike was of a dark colour.
Another person was mugged in similar circumstances 12 hours before in the alleyway off nearby Kimberley Way, but further details of that case have not yet been released.
Police are warning residents to be vigilant and are stepping up patrols in the area.
