A YOUNG tennis fan met his hero as part of a Great Ormond Street out-reach programme.
Rodi Hibberd, 12, from Wanstead was born with a rare metabolic condition and has been attending the children’s hospital annually all his life.
This November the youngster was a special guest at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at The O2.
Rodi watched the top men’s players as they battled it out on court to gain the last title of the season.
He then got exclusive access to meet his tennis hero Tomas Berdych, ranked world seventh.
