EUROPE’S largest special school has been rated as outstanding three successive times by a government watchdog.

Whitefiled Schools and Centre in Macdonald Road, Walthamstow, has been praised as an “outstandingly successful establishment” by Ofsted following an inspection earlier this year.

Lead inspector James Bowden said: “It succeeds fully in its core aim of providing the highest possible standards of education and support for children, families and staff.

"Every child really does matter. The dignity of each student is respected and all individuals treated without judgement or comparison. The quality of care, guidance and support is of the highest quality, which underpins the ethos of the schools and ensures students’ individual needs are met.”
