THE man accused of shooting the 24-year-old owner of an ice cream parlour in the chest is expected to plead next month.
Temidire Owolabi, 21, of Brandon Close, Chafford Hundred in Grays, Essex, appeared at the Old Bailey today (Wednesday), charged with attempting to murder the co-owner of Cakes and Shakes, James Bryant, at the shop in Woodford Green High Road on November 14.
Owolabi has also been charged with possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life on November 12 and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life on November 14 and is due to enter a plea back at the Old Bailey on January 30.
Three other men were arrested in connection with the shooting on November 19 and have been released on bail to return to police in the new year.
Police said today (Wednesday) that Mr Bryant remained in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
