A SCHOOLBOY was stabbed in the neck in a busy main road.
The 14-year-old was walking along Chingford Mount Road, near the junction with Ainslie Wood Road and the Royston Arms pub, when he was attacked.
It happened on Friday December 9 at around 4.30pm but police have only made details available today.
The teenager was discharged from hospital three days later.
The weapon used is described as a knife with a curved blade and square end.
Officers have been unable to establish a motive for the attack.
Police are urging witnesses to come forward.
