VOLUNTEERS are needed to help restore an old orchard.
Experts from the London Orchard Project will lead the work which will take place at Claybury Park in Fairlop on January 14 between 10am and 2.30pm.
As well as helping out, volunteers will get tips on the best techniques for managing veteran fruit trees and an insight into the orchard habitat.
All ages are welcome at the event, although children must be accompanied by an adult.
While there is no fee, booking is essential.
