LOUGHTON: Cyclist hurt in crash

A CYCLIST was injured when he was hit by a car this morning (Saturday February 11).
It happened in Chester Road, Loughton, at around 9am.
A spokeswoman for the Essex Ambulance Service said he was rushed to Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone but was conscious and breathing.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The man's age has not been established.
