THE men arrested over a shooting at a high street milkshake bar, which left a man fighting for his life, have denied all the charges against them.

James Bryant, 24, a co-owner of Cakes and Shakes in the High Road, Woodford Green, was shot in the chest, in front of his mother, while at the shop on November 14.

Temidire Owolabi, 21, fomerly of Brandon Close in Chafford Hundred in Essex appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday (March 20) alongside Romaine Arthur, 22, of Hazel Way in Chingford.

Owolabi is charged with attempted murder, two counts of possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life, and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Arthur is charged with two counts of perverting the course of justice, and conspiracy to murder.

Both were remanded in custody and are due to appear back at the Old Bailey on May 8.

An 18-year-old arrested in connection with the shooting was due to answer police bail as the Guardian went to press yesterday (Wednesday).
