YOUNG volunteers will be cleaning up litter in preparation for the visit of the Queen.
The clear up will take place in and around Valentines Mansion and Gardens in Ilford on March 26.
The Queen will visit the mansion on March 29 as part of her Diamond Jubilee tour of Britain.
Members of Redbridge Youth Council are getting behind the litter pick which is part of a new campaign ‘In Youth We Trust’ designed to change negative perceptions of young people.
Anyone interested in helping out should meet at Valentines Mansion, Emerson Road, Ilford at 4.45pm on March 26.
