A GIRL was cut free from her car after she collided with a fence in the early hours of this morning.

Firefighters were called to Gravel Lane in Chigwell at 2.25am after the car ended up in a front garden.

Two girls, believed to be aged 17, were in the car and two crews from Loughton used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the driver by 3.05am.

The passenger was not trapped.

Both girls were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
