CHILDREN are being given the chance to have an egg-citing time scrambling around for chocolate goodies at an Easter hunt this weekend.
The event has been hatched by staff at the Vestry House Museum in Walthamstow, where the egg trail will take place on both Saturday and Sunday (April 7 and 8) between 10am and 5pm.
Parents will not have to shell out as it is free to take part.
A council spokesman said eggs were subject to availability.
The Walthamstow branch of Asda supermarket is sponsoring the events.
The museum also hosts a free activity afternoon on Wednesday (April 11) where children can decorate their own flower pot between 1pm and 4.30pm.
There is no need to book for any of the events and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
