WANSTEAD/WOODFORD: Flood risk remains in place
FLOOD risk alerts remain in place across the area.
The environment Agency said this morning that water levels in the lower reaches of the River Roding remain high in Woodford Green, South Woodford, Wanstead and Ilford.
An EA spokesman said that only isolated showers are expected today, and no longer believe that there is the risk of properties flooding.
