AUDIENCE members sung their hearts out to an amateur dramatic society's musical.
Chigwell Row Operatic and Dramatic Society's (CROADS) cockney musical Old Time Music Hall sold out and filled the Victory Hall in Hainault Road, Chigwell with song, dance and laughter last week.
It was the first time for many years that CROADS had put on this type of show and the organisers, Lindsey Kennedy and Sandra Hale were delighted with the outcome.
Mrs Kennedy said: "This was our first attempt at producing a Music Hall and it offered an opportunity for many of our members to shine.
"There were chorus numbers, duets, solos, a monologue and some jokes, all held together by Pam Hodges’ able piano accompaniment and my husband William’s entertaining introductions.
"It was hard work, but we loved every minute."
