A CHARITY quiz night has raised £1,000 to continue making dreams come true for children with life-limiting illnesses.
The Dream Factory held the quiz night on Saturday (June 16) at the Lakeside Suite, Fairlop Waters, in Forest Road, Barkingside.
Charity founder Avril Mills said: "It was an amazing evening. We had people taking part who were our loyal supporters, Redbridge councillors, friends and families.
"We would like to thank everyone who supported the event."
Everyone who took part in the quiz was treated to a fish and chips supper and a raffle also helped contribute to the money raised.
The charity is now busy preparing for the Duke of Essex Polo match in Gaynes Park on July 14, where it will have a stall in the family fun arena.
Tickets are also on sale for the charity's black tie event, 'The Putting on the Glitz Ball', at The Prince Regent Hotel, Manor Road, Woodford Bridge, on November 24.
