THE Football League has ended a deal with loan firm Wonga.com to advertise on club websites following a campaign by Walthamstow MP Stella Creasy.
Ms Creasy has been calling for limits on the “extortionate” rates charged by short-term lenders.
But the industry says a cap would drive borrowers to use illegal loan sharks.
