Leyton and Wanstead MP John Cryer has pledged his support for local business by joining a campaign to give small businesses a voice in Parliament.
Mr Cryer has signed up as a real life entrepreneur champion as part of a campaign led by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
The FSB has been trying to encourage MPs to join the campaign in order to give small businesses the chance to argue for less regulation and more support for small companies.
Mr Cryer said: "Small and medium sized businesses in Redbridge and Waltham Forest are vital for our economy, providing thousands of jobs for my constituents. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with the FSB to champion the work of those local entrepreneurs who are putting good ideas into practice."
