POLICE have issued pictures of an antique rabbit-shaped rattle, a boxing medal and a valuable teapot which they believe may have been stolen in burglaries.

They are also trying to trace the owners of a large quantity of foreign money, mobile phones, a wallet, two car stereos and an MP3 player.

All the items were recovered by Basildon police on June 17.

They believe they could have been stolen from areas including Redbridge in the last three months.

Dc Stephen Cross said: "Some of these items clearly mean something to somebody, and we are particularly keen to trace the owners of the teapot and rattle, which could possibly be family heirlooms.”

If you think any of the items are yours, please call Dc Stephen Cross at the Basildon target offender team on 101.
