A YOUNG woman has become a professional model after winning a nationwide beauty contest.
Scarlett Cook, 20, from Chingford Mount Road in Chingford, won £1,000 and a contract with top London agency Nevs after beating 700 other contestants to the top spot of the talent search, sponsored by Grosvenor Casinos.
She said: “I didn’t think I would come this far. It’s such an amazing feeling.”
