A DECISION on whether to allow a secondary school to build a new block with room for an extra 400 pupils will be made next week.
The Council’s Regulatory Committee will meet on June 25 to consider the plan to expand Woodbridge High School on St Barnabas Road in Woodford Green.
The new block would house the school’s Art, Drama, History, Music and ICT departments.
As well as providing room for extra pupils, it is estimated the expansion would lead to the creation of 21 new teaching jobs.
