DOGS and their two-legged friends took to Chingford Plain to raise funds for a children's hospice.
Haven House Children's Hospice held its bi-annual Pooches on the Plain event yesterday (July 1).
The three-mile walk was opened by Miss Essex, Amber Zakrzewski and she was joined by the hospice mascot Henry the Hound.
Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of the children’s hospice said: "We are always looking at fun ways to get the local community involved in fundraising for the hospice and this includes our local K9 population.
"The dog walk is a great event in the beautiful surroundings of Epping Forest and raises much needed funds for our work with life-limited and life-threatened children in the local area."
Haven House cares for children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
