A TEENAGER fought off two men who tried to rob her as she walked along a residential street.

The men grabbed the 19-year-old's hand and her bag in Audley Gardens, off Willingale Road in Loughton, but she managed to throw one of them to the ground.

The men then ran off, taking nothing.

One of the men is described as white, 16 to 20, 5ft 5ins, wearing a dark grey hooded top and dark jogging bottoms.

Police have just released details of the attack, which happened on June 14 at 9.30pm, and asked anyone with information on it to call Pc Michael Ferguson on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
