A MAN has been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Walthamstow.
Reardon Emanuel, 20, is accused of murdering O'Neill Irwin, 36, who was knifed in Upper Walthamstow in broad daylight on May 21.
Mr Emanuel, of The Crescent in Walthamstow, was charged by police yesterday and appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court this morning.
He was remanded in custody and will attend another hearing at the Old Bailey on Monday (July 9).
A post mortem concluded that Mr Irwin, who lived at various addresses in Walthamstow, died of a single stab wound to the heart.
After being stabbed, he flagged down a passing police patrol car in Ulverston Road, at the junction with Forest Road, but paramedics were unable to save him.
