COMMUTERS and spectators attending the first day of athletics at the Olympics are facing severe delays as part of the Central line is suspended.
The line is not running between Liverpool Street and Leytonstone because of a signal failure at Bethnal Green.
Tube tickets are being accepted on Greater Anglia, First Great Western and bus services.
It comes after the line was suspended on Tuesday morning due to a suspected fire at Leyton.
