CYCLISTS inspired by the likes of Bradley Wiggins and Victoria Pendelton can find out more about the sport at a cycling centre open day.
The success of Great Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic teams has created plenty of interest in cycling and the Redbridge Cycling Centre in Forest Road, Hainault, is hoping to encourage people to get on their bikes.
As well as taster sessions on racing bikes, mountain bikes and BMXs, there will be adapted bikes for disabled people and free use of the centre’s track.
Local cycling groups will be present to sign up new members and there will be free coaching sessions for children.
The open day takes place on September 16 from 9.30am-4.30pm. Entrance is free.
