A DRINK-driver has been banned for three and a half years after she admitted being over the limit during a crash with a bus.

Nicola Stallard, 44, was arrested after the Volkswagen Golf she was driving and the single decker bus crashed in Borders Lane, Loughton, on July 20.

Stallard, of Knighton Lane, Buckhurst Hill, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol earlier this month.

As well as having her licence suspended, she was ordered to pay £85 costs and was told she must attend a drink-drivers’ course and regular meetings with a police officer for 12 months, at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
