A SCHOOL hall was transformed into a gallery to showcase pupils' art.
Parents were to the exhibition at St Patrick's Catholic School in Longfield Avenue, Walthamstow on Tuesday.
Pupils had taken inspiration from William Kalf's painting Still Life with Drinking Horn to create their own original piece.
Some students created three dimensional lobsters, while others made drinking goblets out of clay.
The six-week project was part of the Take One Picture scheme run by the National Gallery, which aims to promote art in schools.
Last year work by St Patrick's was chosen to display their work at the gallery. Assistant headteacher, Tess Bhesania, said: "We were very proud of all our pupils.
"It has been very very successful and the children loved it.
"We are hoping that we might be successful and get displayed in the gallery again." ."
