Call for volunteers to help clear forest
Lovers of the forest are being asked to help turn it into a haven at a volunteer clearing event later this month.
City of London Corporation staff will be pulling out invasive scrub at the junction of Bushwood and Leybourne Road in Wanstead on January 12.
Anyone who wished to lend a hand should go along from 10am until 1pm.
