The Essex police and crime commissioner is due to take questions on the future of policing at a meeting on Tuesday.

Nick Alston, who was elected to the role in November, is expected to answer questions at Epping Forest District Council’s Safer, Cleaner, Greener scrutiny panel at its Epping High Street offices from 7.30pm.

Councillor Jeane Lea, chairwoman of the panel, said: “Any member of the public is welcome to come along to this meeting and to raise questions with Nick.

Mr Alston received the most votes from within Epping Forest during the election, although only 10 per cent of those eligible to vote turned out in the district.

Maybe he could answer why he was not a real Policeman like his Daddy, and what is he going to do about getting Police out of the cafes and back on the streets to patrol?

Why would he answer that question when the facts are easily available

"He is a former Royal Navy officer, has spent three decades working in national defence and security and worked for five years as security director for Goldman Sachs."

I imagine his answer to the second question would be to ask you to provide any proof or to cease making unfounded allegations.

What does he know about policing?

Should have joined The River Police as a PCSO instead of disrupting an already ruined Police Force.

Oh I imagine nothing at all. I would assume he spent the entire time working with the police service commenting on local websites and offending people.

They probably gave him the CBE for making the same tired trolling comments over and over again. I imagine the 30 years working directly with the police and security services weren't considered.

I imagine they recruited him onto the "Board of the Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science at University College London" for his disruptive qualities.

Your poorly researched comments just highlight your ignorance.

They seem to give CBE's to anyone these days except the real people who deserve the same like Charity Workers who undertake charitable deeds without constantly bleating out to the world as to how wonderful they are and seeking publicity.

People like 'call me Nick' have no place in running a Police Force as like Prescott who with Bliar ruined everything he got involved with.

On what basis has he no place. You have yet to provide anything. It cannot be lack of experience as he has over 30 years of it.

He is in fact nothing like Prescott unless Prescott had decades worth of experience working with the police that has up until this point remained hidden from public knowledge.

Please try and stay focused. You can't even be accurate with your bizarre CBE comment. Presumably the fact that 70% of awards given out in the last New Year Honours list were to people for charitable work has escaped you.

'charitable work'

What like Sir Bob Geldof the failed one hit wonder pop star who was 'knighted' after bleating at prime ministers 30 years ago and Africa is in exactly the same Corrupt State as it was all those years ago with kids dying of starvation still.

Meanwhile, back at the Ranch Geldof's kids Prance around with tattoos, and make a career for themselves for err.....being the daughters of a failed Rock Star who did charedy works.

What a joke.

Honours system is not worth a carrot as they give them out like confetti.

And yet you still remain unrewarded for your services to trolling.

You really are a horrible little man.

It must be really exhausting spending every day working out how many people you can be offensive about.
